The U.S. Census Bureau’s annual count of the population is the most comprehensive analysis of the U.S. population. The Census estimates the number of American citizens in the United States for the year 2020.
The Census produces two tables that report the number of American citizens in the United States for the year 2020. Table 1, the “population count” report, computes the number of American citizens for the year, adjusted for international population data. Table 2, the “population adjusted” report, computes the population adjusted for international population data.

The report doesn’t add up because, among other things, it doesn’t account for international population data. That means that, as a result, the country’s population is calculated using a different formula. To try and keep things simple, I took the raw population data, multiplied it by the country’s population, and divided by the adjusted population. That seemed to work, and I put it in Table 1.
A country has 5% of the world’s population, so we have to divide the raw population by 5% to get the adjusted population. Now, the raw population is what’s in the report. The adjusted population is the population from Table 1 minus the population of the country. The difference is the population adjusted for international population data.
So just to reiterate, the adjusted population is what you get when you subtract the population of the country from the population of the world. The raw population is the raw population minus the population of the country. So the adjusted population is the weighted average of the raw population and the population of the country.
In the past, I have often tried to explain the difference between raw and adjusted populations to people. Raw population is what it sounds like. It is the population numbers in Table 1 minus the population of the country. So, raw population is basically the population numbers in Table 1 divided by the population of the country.
Raw population is the population numbers of a country minus the population of the country. So the raw population of the state in the nation is the population numbers of the state in the nation divided by the population of the state. This is because the state in the nation is essentially a country. It is the state in the nation minus the population of the country.
This is where the idea of the population of the country comes in. It gives you the total number of people in a country minus the population of the country. The population of the country is the raw population of the country.
