I’m not sure I know what a toxicologist is. I’m a former medical student, so I’m not sure what the job is either. I do know how to do my job, though. I love it! If it gets stored in your cells, you will die.

Over time, lead can cause various health problems. Lead poisoning is one of the most common causes of death in children between the ages of six and ten. Lead poisoning is primarily caused by leaded gasoline, although it can also occur in other household products. It also turns out that the blood of a child who has been exposed to lead is actually a bit lighter than the blood of a child who has not been exposed to lead. Apparently, the lighter the blood, the more lead it has in it. So if you have a child who is a good age to start getting lead poisoning, you can avoid it by using lead-free paint.
If you have kids running around that are very young (as opposed to older) and they have not been exposed to lead, then you should avoid using lead-based paint. Lead-based paint is not harmless, and you can’t really be sure of how long a child’s blood has been exposed to it.

I know that when a child is exposed to lead, it’s not a good idea to start mixing it into their blood. Lead can cause serious brain damage. It’s just a matter of time before they start showing symptoms of lead poisoning. That’s why I suggest people avoid using lead-based paint.
You may or may not be aware of this, but lead-based paint is a very toxic substance. You can’t really be sure of how long a childs blood has been exposed to it. If there is no lead in it, then you can be pretty sure that the blood is clean. However, there are some chemicals in a paint called methylthiocyanate (MTC) that are especially dangerous. They are found in paint thinner but also in lead-based paint.
MTC is also found in paint thinner and lead-based paint, so that’s why it is especially dangerous in paint. It’s also found in leaded gasoline, and it is a known carcinogen.
