Butler University is a liberal arts college in Pennsylvania. It is an accredited private four-year university with a mission of educating, developing students’ intellectual and spiritual potential with a Christian worldview and life-affirming values. The university offers six undergraduate majors, three graduate programs, and an MBA program, as well as a full-time faculty and a student-run program of student organizations.
As someone who’s been to Butler, I’m not entirely sure what I think of the cost (it’s about $70,000 a year in tuition alone). But I do know that it’s a lot of money, and is a large commitment in a small state. However, the fact that it’s a private school also gives it some advantages. Because it’s not a state school, it doesn’t have to answer to a state educational board.
This makes it a lot more attractive to people who are looking for a small-town atmosphere and who are looking for a school that is more affordable. I know where you’re coming from, but its not as impressive as the private schools we’ve seen in the past.

You can get a lot of good grades in butler university thanks to the super-rich and low-paid top jobs. Even though the number of butler university students is so low, there are many students who are in the top 10 in the class of 2014 and beyond, and its only been since the start of the year that butler university has really gained a foothold in the ranks of the top 1% of the American population.
Butler university costs a bit more than other private schools but its not like the tuition is out of control. For one, butler university offers a lot of good financial aid packages, and its tuition is fairly low. Butler university also offers a number of scholarships and grants that are well worth the money. Some students end up paying more, but it’s definitely worth it if its for the good of the school and the university.

Not only that, but it’s a very selective school. So in order to be admitted to Butler, it has to be accredited, so it only accepts students who can afford to pay the full price.
That might not seem like a huge burden, but it really is. If you’re only going to be attending school for a few years, it would cost you more to pay the $32,400 for a school year than just a few thousand dollars for tuition. There are many schools that offer scholarships to help out with the cost though, so it’s not as bad as it looks.
